Does anyone feel strongly Against Handballs in this game.
The handballs is a good idea but hasn't been implemented well in this edition of PRO-EVO your just about to head in a beutifully crafted move, and you do what you would normally do press the shoot button at the right time, and the ref blows his bloody whistle and calls a handball and you can't do anything to stop yourself from doing handballs.


Another problem is when you jump for a header and your player falls to the floor, and a freekick is awarded against you, because apparently you pushed someone? KNOMAI please correct these problems, use pacthes though don't wait till next year when you relaese the next one, cause that would mean another 12 months of this annoying problem.

I don't find any particulay annoying, but i did have goal cleared off the line by ash.coles hand

but paul b said that he got a pen for a handball, not sure if hes lying or not.

well to be honest ive seen handballs in the area and never got a penalty, watched it in replays too dont think it can happen :S

I don't mind either but I think the handballs should be toned down a bit. When you tackle someone perfectly but the ball hits your hand it is VERY annoying

It's the dumbest thing in the game. It's just given at random. Players just jump for the ball and a free kick is given. I always can't figure it out.

And handballs are just so bad it's not funny. Every time a handball is called it doesn't even hit the players hands. But I notice frequently that when players actually do handball there is no foul called. These features should be sorted or removed.

handballs HAVE to hit the players hands to be called. Sometimes it doesn't look like it but it always happens. When your players foul without you asking them to it is annoying but it stops newbies bashing buttons relentlessly in an attempt to tackle or header

I get most annoyed because my well timed sliding tackles, honed after months of practice on WE6:FE, now always end up as a foul and usually a card, even though i always play the ball...it seems that any kind of contact with a player, before or after the ball seems to result in a foul....the handballs don't bother me so much (yet - i haven't played enough to get annoyed by it) as it does only seems to happen when the ball flies in to someones midriff (?), and i've got used to the fouls when you go for a header, though it would be nice to know why it happens (ie if it is because you press the header button too early or something) so that you could do it on purpose, or NOT do it on purpose even.

I think the fouls are ok because think about it...If the opposition falls over when u appear to be doing nothing that's right because in real life if you are pressing a player and using physical pressing and they try to have a shot they may stumble because his feet may get hit by you as he is shooting and he will miss.

I think there should be a dive button on pes3 and the more agile the player is the better the dive and it would be kool to con refs into pens, and the cpu teams could do it as well which would add real drama to the match, This feature was on This is football and it was kool.

me too, but it would have to be implemented properly. ie, not getting away with it every time, but it working sometimes.

It was on all the iss' on the n64 - I had 2000 which most didnt like, but I think its good. You had to press all C buttons to dive. Most of the time nothing happens, but sometimes you con the ref and other times you get carded for diving.

I think it should be a kind of secret move, as havin a "dive button" is rather silly

I think diving should be incoporated but not as a buttong. The next PES should include a 'dirtyness' stat (like Champ Man) and this defines how often they'll try and hurt a player in a tackle (and consequently how likely they are to injure) and also how easily they draw fouls. I'd enjoy the ref booking people if he says they dive as well although that'd be another thing to annoy ever one

ive had a penalty given for handball, then the keeper went and saved it. it has only happened the once an ive seen goal line clearances with hands going unpenalised aswell

yeah it isnt' always seen. I've had shots blocked by peoples arms before but 've been given nothing. The again the same goes for me in my own area

I agree with giggsy11 and there should be a dive button for Pro Evo 3 for a laugh! will piss my mates off like it used to in TIF 2003 when I would dive and get a penalty!!! Handballs are not well implemented and need to be sorted out... I have never seen a computer player (Defender) in the box who has blatantly handled the ball be punished!!!!

I agree with the dive feature, as i feel it is so common in football it would work well. however, it would have to be implentaed in a realistic way whereby if its an obvious dive, yellow card.
As for the handballs, i have to agree it is annoying, but alot of the time, handballs are accidental in football, the ball just kicks up and hits the arm, its frustrating but i do believe it makes the game more realistic. A way it could be sorted (and i know this is messing with success) is by having a button (I.E Circle) that allows you to control the ball wiv you chest. if this is mis-timed, Handball, depneding how good ur reactions are.
