To stop yourself giving away handballs and and small fouls like those conceded when going up for headers you have to consider how you are moving your player at the time. I think Konami have done well in forcing you to think rather than just go charging all over the pitch with the sprint button held down, as you can in games such as FIFA. It adds an extra edge of realism to the games and makes the player consider each challenge and loose ball they go in for.

Well said webbo that part of the game has been well implemented.. the pushin foul isnt too bad its just the handballs im a bit concerned with...

i'd prefer playability over reaslism, handballs just stop the game unnecessarily. btw i wouldnt mind getting booked/sent off for fouls all the time if the cpu was treated the same, it fouls me in the penalty area constantly, never get a pen (rarely). think the cpu is managed by george graham, bunged the ref a few quid.

Hate to be a kill-joy but IMO the game in real life is being ruined by the culture of diving. I think it woudl be retrograde step to allow you to deliberately dive in PES.

Yes, whats this problems_? While Im defending I get the ball from the player the referee gives foul. What can they do for it. I think PES 4 wont have that problems.

also the goalkeepers are really bad players, every GK suck at the goal. This should be corrected too

i don't think either the handballs or the fouls are annoying. it's the advantage (or lack of it) that refs are supposed to "give" in pes3. I rarely get it and when it does it never leads to anything.

If the ref is going to call hands I want to see a penalty when it happens because it always gives it to the defending team when your attacking them in the box

not always. i have got one or two penalties for handballs.

i think the hand balls ok (apart that you carnt get a penilty out of it, but am ok with that as i would have conseded alot )
fouls are ok, but the play on needs recoding, as every time it comes up it role to the oppising team and it carrys on.

The handballs are annoying, in the opponent's pen area, the ball just hits your body, a foul straightaway.

The most I got outta this annoying rule was a free kick at the edge of the area, that's about it.
