Not sure if this has already been posted but has anyone noticed that handballs are in the pro evo 5, at least the demo that is. Noticed it twice already. Only seems to happen when your in the opposition box. Nice addition, especially compared to pro evo 3.

Also, does anyone know wether you can actually get booked for injuring a player on the game as on the previous games whenever u injured a player u never seemed to get a card which was often annoying.

I get al least one in every 3 games. I think it has something to do with stats though, it seems like it occurs most when using lower ranked clubs.

Well, I had played PES4 for around 10 months and I never got a single handball decision for me or against me.

I'm serious. It's never happened to me.

Actually, Handballs are in PES4. I played a training match once (In the "Training" mode), and included fouls for rough play etc, and at one point the referee just blew the whistle and awarded a freekick against me, after one of the other teams guys shot at my player. It also happened a couple of times, although they were really rare. It was never announced by the commentators etc either. I was always a bit puzzled by what happened at those times, untill I thought that handball was the only explanation.

Seriously, handballs have never happened to me before in PES4.

I seem to remember that there were too many handballs in PES3 though. I just assumed that they took out the handball feature in PES4.

I never saw a handball occur in PES4. With you on that one bud.

I play PES4 for at least an hour every single day and ive only seen it happen a few times. Might have been more but I dont play with the commentry turned up and they tell you when its handball....

i never really saw them in pes 4 they were there in pes3 though used to get them a ll the time

i have had 1 in pes5 it was in the opponats box

i have hardly had any bookings in pes5 at all compared with pes 4 the refs seem a lot more leniant even with hard tackles

It happened way too much in PES3!
Only happened to me once in PES4, i thought it was a free kick for a push until commentator said "thats a handball"

Handballs only happened in PES4 when you were dribbling through on goal or something equally stupid, the commentators didn't mention it every time so whenever a random freekick was given against you it was probably for handball, just another way nokami 'scripts' matches. It didn't happen too often though, and wasn't as noticable as the deliberate slowing down of your players when chasing long/through balls, that always pisses me off :angry:

I actually agree with you. In PES3 They happened quite frequently. And i assumed they'd removed the feature in PES4 as i'd played it that long without ever coming across it.
It's happened but its very rare. I've played alot on the PES5 demo and still not seen anything.. maybe when i get the game and up the amount of gaming i'm doing i'll notice it.

in pes3 the handballs happened way too much and were really annoying
They were grand in pes4 because they rarely happened so lets hope pes5 is the same
