Hard LOW shots

Is it possible to execute a low hard shot in PES6?

The harder your shot goes, the higher it gets.

Any ideas?

This would be useful on free kicks for example.

As a fellow Gooner I would love to help, but i'am having the shit happening but not all the time. I think it could be down the shape of the player before he hits the ball, as I have had a few goals that have been low and hard. On free kicks you need less power bar than ps5 to get the same result ..... goals. The only other thing to try is the training, sorry not been much help but keep up the spurs bashing on ps6 !

No

Konami has made it so that most of your shots will go over the post. Even with players like Ronaldo from inside the small goalie box the ball will go over the bar. The power bar for kicking is too fast, and no matter how long you hold the shoot button the bar will go pass half way, otherwise most players would be thrashing the cpu 10 nil every game.

It's not really a power bar per se....but is actually a height bar. It is more closely related to how big of a swing your player takes at the ball, with your players shooting power stat mostly affecting the power, with your players approach to the ball also coming into consideration. Oh and about your skying it over the bar in the box, add a little bit of R2 to your shots, it will assist greatly.

How often do you see low hard shots in real life? Not that often and its the same in the game.

there is a way to get consistent low hard shots: use a full power manual pass. they're unlikey to get through a crowded penalty area as they mostly just go straight ahead or at a 45 degree angle but if you get them right they look ace and are loads harder than most shots. they are also 100% accurate so good for players who have little shot accuracy / technique

the shot that pes never seems to simulate well is the very common low shot across the face of the goal from the side of the area the area. when you try it the player always seems to send a floating shot that curls away from the goal.

Yeah like someone mentioned its more like a height bar. It's all about timing - if your in space and shoot dribbling slowly U should have no problems getting a low hard hit goal. The the best I can offer
