Has n e 1 got a 2mb connection, and if so i online play still good on it. I recently installed a RAM, which make everything a whole lot faster, i am also on broadband with a wireless router? Do u think this will b ok for online play?

Yes it will be fine so long as you don't have any other programs running on the connection except PES5.

You CAN surf the net while playing Pro Evo, but you'll get lag if you're playing - or more to the point give your opponent a hell of a lot of lag.

If the connection is being used you get lag. The bandwith can only do so much. If you're on the internet and play Pro Evo, there will be lag. It isn't computer specific, it is line specific. Anyone using your connection will affect your available bandwidth as they will be using some of it.

Only use the interweb connection for PES otherwise there will be lag.

And DONT go wireless .... that will only add to your lag FFS. There is a certain amount of signal drop off when u go wireless. use a direct connect with a gold plated ethernet cable is u can. It makes all the difference !!!

My wireless connection suffers no lag whatsoever.

switch firewall off or set it to allow pro evo to pass... but judging by some of your posts... it might be easier to just switch it off when you play
