It's subjective. One game is only better then the other to the person who plays it. I personally don't understand why FIFA fans so badly seem to want us to like FIFA more then Pro.
I played the demo, FIFA'09, and it did nothing for me, I gave it a chance and it just didn't win me over.
If you enjoy FIFA more then Pro then that's fine. It's only a computer game at the end of the day.
People would have thought this is a presidential vote. Each to their own at the end of the day.

Personally, I would say that FIFA is the more fluid experience. PES is an improvement on last years effort but the very limited player movement and animations kills it for me.

I want people from this forum to change so i can have more people to play against online, yes i can join a fifa forum but i've been here since forever plus tbh people i meet online in fifa are losers and cheaters. Well most of them anyways.

That's fair enough. But unfortunately as the website name suggests the majority of us are going to prefer playing Pro.

that doesn't change the fact that the game is better than pes this year and the year before. I wish PES makes it back to the scene so i can really enjoy playing both games. PES2009 IS better than PEs2008 but it's just not the game i am willing to spend 60$ on especially when there is a better alternative.

I've noticed that, yes, but i thought it was a place where people would like to enjoy football games in general not to stick to one game ...

Again that's your opinion but I personally don't see how FIFA is better. Pro isn't great but I still enjoy playing it more then FIFA. It's not fact it's just opinions and ,like arseholes, we've all got one.

miggy, but you could say it was an opinion when pro evo 6 used to be miles better than fifa was.

I think it has got to the stage where fifa is already better than pes and if pes doesnt come up with something innovative in 2010, it will be even bigger.

I know for a fact a lot of people preferred PES5 to PES6 so again it's just an opinion. You can't just go around saying one game is better then the other because you say so when there are a huge amount of people that actually like the game you so much dislike.
I just don't understand what it proves? It's like the bloody PS3 vs 360. Annoying.

i feel gutted, got FIFA 09 2day and had my mates round playing it, and we all felt something was missing, everybody said it's a good game it's just something isn't there. i played the PES demo for a bit and it's not filled me with confidence as it's similar to 2008. oh well mabye it's just change and i need to get used to it. time will tell.

fifa08 is so bad it makes me cry. I want to like it because my friend does and we could have some good ol fashion 1v1.

He wont play pro evo coz he says its too arcady!!! HELLO!!!? its a fookin arcade game.

PES2008 had many faults but i loved the gameplay (minus two many yellow cards, crap quick free quicks, shocking chip shots), all it really missed was options (now we have CL and BAL) and no edit mode (which is back, big time).

I'm gonna play both demo's tonight but i know what the answers going to be.
Unless PES09 is worse than last years and Fifa09 is A LOT better than last years, PES will BLOW IT OUT OF THE WATER, HANDS DOWN!!!!!
