Triple tap of circle as well is useful, the cross thats along the floor, if you are on the break and there arent too many defenders in the centre.

Think out of the box my friends. I prefer to use the X button to head the ball as it offers more accuracy with the right amount of power needed to hit the ball past the goalie. I would often run along the byeline and when I reach the position adjacent to the penalty spot, I tap the O button once for a deep long cross to the far post for my forward(often the taller of the two) and just direct with the D-pad and tap the X button repeatedly till I see the ball nestle in the back of the net. I do put the ball a bit closer to the goalie sometimes and get my targetman to challenge the him. The success of this tactic is dependant on how tall and how high that forward can leap. I do try to inject some creativity and variety to my attack at times by tapping the O button thrice and have my forward at the near post sliding in to direct the flight of the ball towards the goal, just like most WE8 players do. Afterall a sucessful attack takes skill and an element of surprise.
