Hello everyone.

Im getting a ps3 next week and i want to update PES 2009 with the latest stuff.

Which option file is best?

i want it to have,
Real Kits from the premiership and European teams.
Updated transfers
Real names for league, teams, stadium and cups etc


Anything else is a bonus. i also read that there is option file with better stats on players.

there are quite a few option files on here mate, liam kenyons,vons and arsenald's, oh and yoyowhazzas is good also. just depends on what you want really. you wont be dissapointed though they are all top notch and credit to all the guys who take the time to do them. remember to get the 1.20 update also when you get your ps3

hey dude, i use vons option file. it is mint and very thankful for the effort of these guys.

im an arsenal fan, so if you would like some good online rivalry games add me.

i try to play the beatiful game just like the wengerboys but this sometimes causes me to lose badly haha. i dont mind though!!

What is the 1.20 update?

1st, welcome to the site.

When connecting to the net and starting your PS3 an option will come up before the game starts promting you to install the latest PS3 version (V2.52 I think). Then once the game starts it will then give you another message giving you instructions how to update to V1.20.
Once you have done that, load the game again, wait for the menu to come up, scroll down to system settings, then scroll down to download. This downloads the latest game patch. It will give you 2 options on how to down load it. P2P (recommended) and HTTP. I personally used HTTP. Once downloaded follow the same instructions but instead of going to download, go to install.

This is how it worked for me.

As for the all the editing kets thing. There are plenty to choose from on here and they are all at a goos standard. I personally have done my own. I'd be more than happy to send you the file via email, just let me know.

Thanks guys, ps3 should be with me next week so im all ready to go. Got pes2009 with me, set up my wireless router just need the console!
I will read through all the option files and see which one i would like. Its brilliant how people do all this.
