Help Me Patch My Pes 2008!!

right,i have pes 2008 on the pc and i have been trying to patch it for weeks now but i have no luck.
firstly i downloaded a patch from proevolutionline and i am using afs explorer and when i put the patch on there the faces upload but nothing else every team has a chelsea type kit :-(
so,i downloaded YNWA's patch from proevolutionunderground and it seems like a really good patch but i cant get it on there:mad: please help me!!!
also when i get the patch on there can i insert my own stuff e.g-boots or balls if they are BIN files.
please please help meeeeee!!!!!!

you made sure you have extracted the kitserver files to the correct place?

it should be placed in
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\kitserver

and you have to make sure it is actually installed by clicking on setup.exe in the same forlder as posted above.
If the files isnt placed in the right place, the "Install" button would be blanked out.

Since I patch using .bin files in .img files, the help i can offer you on KitServer is limited.

i downloaded YNWA's patch and it is saved as-
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\PES 2008 Patch Install
is that right?
and when i go to click the icon to play pes it says-
either the file is damaged or was not correctly installed.please uninstall before installing it again.
help me pleeeeeeeease lol

BTW WEN I INSTALL MY PRO EVO GAME DOES IT HAVE TO BE INSTALLED AS C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

I JUST SAVED IT AND I SAVED IT UNDER MY DOCUMENTS KONAMI.
WHEN I TRIED PLAYING THE PATCH THEN THE PLAYERS FACES WERE GREEN AND YOU COULD SEE THE KITS WERE TRYING TO WORK BUT THEY WERE MIXED UP E.G ENGLAND KIT WAS WHITE BUT IT WAS MIXED WIV THE AWAY KIT:S
I AM REALLY REALY CONFUSED NOW AND I AM ON A VISTA COMPUTER AT THE MINUTE BUT TOMMOROW I WILL BE ON A WINDOWS ONE
WILL THAT MAKE A DIFFRENCE AND IT WIL BE ON 16:9

ALSO IF I HAVE DOWNLOADED A bin. FILE CAN I INSERT IT INTO A PATCH?

Sorry mate, as i said before, my knowledge in KitServer is very limited.

But you are right about installing the game into the directory:
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
and the kitserver folder should be placed here.
You also have to make sure the maps.txt in kitserver are coded according to the patch.

Thats as much help i can give you on KitServer.

I really recommend using .bin/.afp (through afs_explorer) patches instead as they are more "stable" while KitServer are more prone to crashing.
Also, the creators have discontinued making it so no more updates regarding bugs would be released.

And you shouldn't use both .bin patches and KitServer patches at the same time, this can cause major lags in loading, aswell as crashing, and worse case the game would fail to load.

Sounds like you screw up your img files...

Happened to me once... when I started this AFS modification in the past...

DO THIS:
Uninstall the game, reinstall again...

Then backup your img files, mainly cv_o, cv_1, rv_e (if you use english version) etc...those which you will modify...

ONLY then should you start using AFS to import files over your respective img or bin files... its complicated I know...but so are the other methods...AFS is easy comparatively and reliable....

Notice any screw ups? just replace the img with the original ones which you have backed up

Follow instructions clearly...
reply me if you have any particular queries on the steps...
on boots, scoreboards or ad boards etc...

BTW any one here can help me with my qn on the thread I posted on
