just create a player, then wait till a season is over, then he will appear in ML, so search his name and he will be playing for no-one.

Or start a new one and he'll be there from the start once again with no team.

The best way is to edit an existing player. egg: virota from PES united. Change his name, stats, nationality, etc and then you can transfer him to any club team :)
