How do you invite a friend to play online please.

pes/konami is just pissing me off...
the whole system/server is just not stable/consistent...
for example, yesterday i signed online and created a community...
my buddy then came online (i could see his psn as online), but when he goes to community and searches by user ID, konami is saying "user can't be found"....when CLEARLY, i am online
then i went into the game lobby, created a game room (friendly unranked), made it open to invite only, then sent my friend an invite..
he gets the message in his psn, but in the game, when you go to online -> confirm invite, it's saying "no messages found"...
completely BOGUS!
konami needs to get their shit together or i am simply bailing on this game from next year...
