HELP please. PES 2009 does not contain save or kitserver folders

Hey everyone, I hope all is well by you. FIrst off I would like to say that I have just got PES 2009 for PC and I will never buy FIFA again. This is light years ahead of not only fifa but many other sports games.

However I have encountered a problem. I was hoping to install the smoke 1.6 patch but my PES folder does not contain the save folder or the kitserver folder. However everything in the game runs smoothly and I am allowed to save my franchise player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
