something is wrong with my ps2.I got a slim ps2 and sometimes when i put my disc intop ps2 it wouldnt load it.So i leave it off for a day or some hours and it would work again but sometimes it wouldnt do any peaple know whats wrong.Thanks

i think your laser might be bust i had a slim line and after a while it wouldnt start reading my games becasue of the laser. so I got a 360 lol

they overheat dont they? thought slim lines were only supposed to be on 3 hours max? ive got a slim line one and its taken some punishment over the years but i only ever play it at most 1.5 to 2 hours at most, try cutting down play time see if it gets any better, coz my slimline one will read discs my big one wont and thats been kept safe, never dropped or knocked or smashed etc

thanks 2 of yous i just played it there for 4 hours but i think it needs alot of rest and sometimes it will read the disc but sometimes it wont or sometimes it does work but after 5 min it will crash did this happend to anybody else

Oh i found what was wrong my laser wants moving right so i had to clean the ps2
