Help! Swap Magic 3.6 "Disk Read Error"

I just received Swap Magin 3.6 and a Slide Card in the mail but the problem is that i get "Disk Read Error" every time i put the CD in my PS2. This happens with both the Swap Magic CD and DVD. I have a US PS2 and these are US Swap Magic disks. Did i just get a faulty disk, or is there some way to fix this? My PS2 is fine since it reads all my games without any problems

I also had this, and I'm afraid that the solution for the problem was far from simple. I realised my PS2 was one of the first made (Well over a few years ago now..) and it was in fact too old to load the DVD/CD. Only solution was for me to go out and buy a brand new PS2.

I hope you can find an easier solution, as obviously buying an entire new PS2 is not a minor issue! One thing I would advise is just really making sure the discs haven't got any scratches. Occasionally the PS2 itself can actually make scratches on discs. Try talking to the person/company you purchased the discs from and see if there would be any way you could possibly get a refund, (new set of discs..)
