Help With Kitserver

can anyone help me with step by step instructions on how to add new balls, have placed in ball folder and renamed them i.e. "gold_nike_mdl.bin" and then "gold_nike_tex.bin" but when I load game I only get the normal selection, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong. cheers
