Help with shooting...

Hello

I m wondering if someone can explain to me how to shoot strong but that ball goes on ground ...i see ppl online scoring goals from 25-35 meters away ..shooting very strong and ball never goes in air.

I m playing PC version. Can someone explain it to me ? thanx in advance

If it's anything like the PS2-version (which I would guess in this respect it is), it depends on the player's position to the ball, the player's position to the goal, who the shooter is and so on.

In general, if the ball comes directly towards a shooter or if the shooters has room to run towards the ball before making the kick, you'd be able to make a quite powerful shot regardless. But, the further you hold in the shot-button it will not only increase power but will definately also change the trajectory meaning the ball will go higher (this depends on the stats of the player). If you try let go of the shot-button before the gauge reaches half way, the ball is more likely to go along the ground, but may not necessarily be a "weak" shot, if you know what I mean (again, it depends on the stats of the shooter).

Thanx for your explanantion..but i didnt ment shooting with shot button...i suspect ppl are shooting with passing buton and long pass buton..cos ball never reaches air..like it does if u use shoot button and power it to half way...

what i want to say..its possible to shoot with long pass or basic pass buton but i dont get it yet. Mainly mine keeper dosent like that kinda balls...and shots a re very strong..so i wonder if anyone here knows the secret of this kinda shot.

all u need to do is pick ur spot away from the keeper wid the D-pad and shoot thats it.
It ain't going to go in every time or else their would be no point of having keepers

also pressing r2 (shot placement) seems to make the ball travel along the deck more often than not.
