Okay Im really really new to this patching game thing

But I followed the idiot proof guide to patch WE6FE

Every time I have the same problem

First i burned wedoit 3.0 didnt work
Second time the same thing but I used ECCRegen and regenerated the damaged sectors didnt work

Third time I tried with wedoit 1.0

Each and every time the burning goes well but when I put it into my ps2

INSERT A PS OR PS2 DISC

Ive used CDRWin and CloneCD

Could someone help me

Hi. You need to make sure you are applying patches to a clean image of the game each time. You can't appy patches on top of each other (except in certain cases).

I think I got a really clean image of the cd
I got the original game and made the image with cdrwin and after that I tried with clonecd

And I havent patched the game with 2 patches

Each time I used a new cd and new image of the game

What else could be the problem?

Which chip do you have ? When the screen "INSERT A PS OR PS2 DISC" appears press eject then hold the reset button for 3 seconds and then restart the console immediately

thx but it didnt work
My ps2 tries to read the cd for the first 2 sec then stops
Then the message appears

I dont exactly the kind of chip but its one of the best on the market

i know cause its my friend that install it
I dont need a boot cd or anything like that and I have a lot of copied games and they all work.

Could someone tell me exactly the programs they used(ver.)
or even better send me a file already patched

If you can play the WE7 original, burn an image of the original WE7 with no patches. If this works, then a patched version should work too.

If this clean copy doesn't work then you need to figure out how to use your chip properly.
If it does work, you need to apply a patch more carefully. Good luck.

But it should be the same thing.

By the way I tried to download from WEdoIT and all the links seem to be dead
Well that was a week ago I dont know about now

Anybody knows something about this or other sites that could work?

Bah, im having the same problem, done that new mixed patch over at evo web.

im completely new to this and I didi it following a guide at issextreme but it doesnt work.

I get that facking "insert a blah blah"

Help me :(

If you've checked all the links for WE6:FE patches in the sticky thread and they don't work, I don't know where else to get them from. Sorry.

T'is WE7.

and it's when i turn the PS2 on it comes up with the insert PS/ PS2 game red screen.

I had those " insert ps2 disc" problems too. My problem was nero. When I changed to CDRWIN everything worked just fine. Propably nero´s fine, I just couldnt use it right.
Which speed you are using? 4x or even slower is a good choice...

the slowest one using CDwin cos its the trial version.

I do everything it says and I stil get that "Insert PS/ PS2 game"
