Hi when i try and download the update 1.20 afer about five minutes it comes up saying an error occured with the error code (80710723) can anyone tel me what this means and how to fix it? help appreciated.

Make sure you connect your PS3 directly to your cable/DSL modem. If you use the wireless function for downloads, then you risk getting errors.

If you are using a network cable already, then call Sony customer support or send them an email. I've dealt with Sony's PS3 customer support once, over the phone, and they were very helpful.
