Helps on 4-3-3 formation

Guys recently I have decided to test out a new 4-3-3 formation (it slightly reassembles barca's 4-3-3). But since then, i found out that i couldn't really use it to the full potential consistently. I found that at times, my attacking quarters could just shred my brother's and friend's (I don't play the master league very often) defenses with amazing fluidity. But most of the time my passing in midfield and attack is sh*t, and the attackers and midfielders just don't link up at all. It seems that I all the attackers just stand there not moving. I still can't figure out how to fix this. can anyone help?

p.s This is getting bad because my LITTLE brother is winning me more often

i dont usually play 4-3-3 .simply because when your playing the ball out of defence you never seem to find an easy option to pass too and when you do the next man is so far away the pass to him gets picked off

and their we have the problem with 4-3-3 its disjointed not compact enough for simple passing ,so i use this style of play i use my full back to pass into the midfeild then pass blind foreward into the area where i anticipate my foreward to be usually this is the flank as it is less congested using my pass button then using the foreward i bring it back towards my goal bringing my midfeild into play i pass it inside to my midfeild and then accross to my other central midfeilder this gives time for my foreward to jog back into his posistion and brings my other forewards into play with a simple ball, but what i would say is you must constantly use the simple pass to feet ,dont use through ball untill you are abseloutley sure otherwise the opposistion will just pick your passes off and blitz through your open midfeild .

One of my ML teams uses 4-3-3 exclusively.

Depending on who I'm playing:

Balance (CMF needs to have great stamina, decent pace and passing, like a Machado, Kaiser, Reo-Coker, DMF needs to be a "destroyer", ie, Bradley, Bianchi, Makelele, Mascherano, etc...):

That Holding Bastard (you need a scary motherfucker of a DMF to make this one work in Top Player. Someone like a developed Huddlestone, Heitinga, Bos, De Jong, Vanden Borre, who can break up play, pass, create, attack themselves, and still comfortably get the hell back to cover. Your enemies will learn to fear your DMF, because he's damn hard to knock of the ball, his shots from the top of the box readily and routinely break fingers, and he's basically omnipresent. Seriously, I've had some of these cats score 20 a season.)

It's a secret

Bump! thx !  Her chores were never-ending. Sewing clothes for her family on the old Singer treadle machine, cooking meals and baking bread, planting and tending a vegetable garden, milking the goats and scrubbing soiled clothes on a washboard. But she was happy. Her family and their well-being were her highest priority.  Every day after chores and school, Reuben scoured the town, collecting the hessian nail bags. On the day the two-room school closed for the summer, no student was more delighted than Reuben. Now he would have more time for his mission.  All summer long, despite chores at home weeding and watering the garden, cutting wood and fetching water—Reuben kept to his secret task.  Then all too soon the garden was harvested, the vegetables canned and stored, and the school reopened. Soon the leaves fell and the winds blew cold and gusty from the bay. Reuben wandered the streets, diligently searching for his hessian treasures.  Often he was cold, tired and hungry, but the thought of the object in the shop window sustained him. Sometimes his mother would ask: “Reuben, where were you? We were waiting for you to have dinner.”  “Playing, Mum. Sorry.”  Dora would look at his face and shake her head. Boys.  Finally spring burst into glorious green and Reuben's spirits erupted. The time had come! He ran into the barn, climbed to the hayloft and uncovered the tin can. He poured the coins out and began to count.  Then he counted again. He needed 20 cents more. Could there be any sacks left any where in town? He had to find four and sell them before the day ended.  Reuben ran down Water Street.  The shadows were lengthening when Reuben arrived at the factory. The sack buyer was about to lock up.  “Mister! Please don't close up yet.”  The man turned and saw Reuben, dirty and sweat stained.  “Come back tomorrow, boy.”  “Please, Mister. I have to sell the sacks now—please.”The man heard a tremor in Reuben's voice and could tell he was close to tears.  “Why do you need this money so badly?”  “It's a secret.”  The man took the sacks, reached into his pocket and put four coins in Reuben's hand. Reuben murmured a thank you and ran home.  Then, clutching the tin can, he headed for the shop.  “I have the money,” he solemnly told the owner.  The man went to the window and retrieved Reuben's treasure.Thsale is a professional, loyal and reliable wow gold supplier online, we pioneered selling cheap wow gold. Try using wingbacks rather than wingers, so you have a 5 man defence when you don't have the ball and a 5 man midfield when you do. That should give you an easier transition from attack to defence as very few people play with very wide full backs. Example ( as if playing vs a 4-4-2 ) ;

Van Der Sarr

Ferdinand Vidic Neville

Evra Brown

Nani Carrick Ronaldo

Rooney Berbatov

( Used Man Utd because its the most globaly known first 11 I'd think )

With your midfield tucked in tight the majority of players ( I find ) tend to use their right/left midfielders to track Nani and Ronaldo with 1 man to track Carrick leaving them an extra man in central area's, this is where 3 centre halves come in handy. By doing this tho they are leaving wide open spaces for Evra and Brown to bomb on and get 1 on 1 with the opposing full backs, negating the midfield cover is the main tactic in using wing backs. You still have a 3 man midfield while you are defending however when ur attacking you are using 7 players rather than 6 and ultimately this is going to leave someone free at some point.

It's just something I have found usefull in combating the 4-4-2 with a holding midfielder. Other people will have different opinions ofcourse.

You've got to be really aggressive with them, and learn enough skills to successfully take on defenders. You're not going to get much support unless you have either highly attack-minded fullbacks or two attacking midfielders, so you must learn to take defenders on consistently and either beat them out wide to cross or cut inside to shoot or move a central defender out of position. You need to be using Walcott, Nani, and similar extremely pacey players with tricky feet to be most effective.

Also, at times, it helps to play one WF and one wide SS on the opposite side (or, if symmetry matters to you, two very wide SS's with at least one diagonally wide attack arrow). The range that an SS covers comes in handy when trying pick up any inaccurate crosses and loose balls being sent in by the winger (a WF on the other side will often just camp out at the far post, or near the opposite flank's touchline when the game is being stupid [which is often]).
