I often post at US PS3 board in their sports section. I made a thread about liking PES 10 over FIFA 10 and was just flamed, bombarded by stupid idiots who are possibly natural born Americans, never saw or played a real football match yet they speak so highly like I don't know a god damn thing. Its just funny to read these statements and now I know why FIFA 10 has such a high ratings. Its because of these, clowns. Anyways, here's whats being said about PES10 and FIFA10:
The only place Pes outsells Fifa is Asia, and that's only because Konami have such a big influence there.
Fifa '10 is the best football game I have played gameplay wise. It is the highest rated Ps3 sports game on Metacritic.
now a surprise from a guy who apparently is not a "soccer" fan and this kid obviously has some brains, he says:
having played both for sometime and not a soccer fan i found that pes is more like a soccer sim and fifa is more like a soccer arcade. WE was really complicated in setting up your teams and how they played and fifa was just just pick it up and start playing and have fun. I always felt they were really different games, that you really just cant compare head to head. just my .02
Forgive me if i am wrong, but isn't all of Europe playing FIFA 10? Also, isn't there a WORLD champion ship on fifa 10. Anyways, what does your post have to do with the game play?
Gees, most American prefer to have s.e.x with girls, i guess we can't do that now? Even back to 5-500 (going back only 500 years) years ago, when they were all b!!tchy and hiding behind their clothes.
Fifa 09 and 10 have beaten PES. I don't care how fifa was 5-10 years ago. 10 years ago, the techinology was **bleep** compared to day. I don't see how people can back their arguments on games that were created 5-10 years ago. The way i see it is FIFA 10 is about tactics and actually knowing how to play, PES ( juding from the demo) is straight runs on the wings! With corner turns. When i played PES in the past ( 06,07,08) it all felt like i am controlling robots!
By the way, i don't believe the OP! I can't remember seeing him here a lot, but the first time i saw him, a while back he was always a PES fan. He and you are obviosly biased to PES, as i am to FIFA. So my option is this, you and the other 1 post guy and the OP a

Fifa 10 is about skills and Tactics. Skills of the individual and not the team you are playing with. :no:

Fifa 10 is the highest rated PS3 sports game on Metacritic. Ps2 Pes was for more advanced players. Times have changed, PES is not difficult on 'Top Player'.Only good thing about PES is the Champions league mode. Fifa has better ratings, sales and gameplay. :w00t
lright I haven't been on here in awhile but i saw this thread and would like to drop my opinion on this topic.
PES GAMEPLAY- If you think PES has better gameplay and is more soccer like then idk what kind of soccer games you've been watching. The PES players run like if they are squatting and looks robotic in a way. And also you can tell PES doesnt have 360 dribbling. I try to turn slightly in a different direction and the player takes a huge touch. Also in the hardest difficulty it is way too easy to score. Did I forget to mention it is almost impossible to play a game online?
PES PRESENTATION- My 1st impression when i pooped in the pes10 disc was that it had plain menu and not a lot of selection and obvioulsy the lack of licenses. Who can really have that much fun playing London Blue vs Manchester Red. =0
FIFA GAMEPLAY- FIFA's players movements are much more fluid and life like. Every shot from 25 yards out doesnt go in like in PES. It creates more of a challenge when u play as well.
FIFA PRESENTATION- Although i hate seeing rooney score on cech everytime i put in the disc you can tell FIFA spends a lot of times on the flashy stuff like the video to start the game and the arena practice mode and stuff. FIFA has a lot of different game modes to keep you entertained. (Be a pro, 10v10 etc)
I used to play PES back in the day when it was the Winning Eleven series and it was very fun to play on ps2. But FIFA 08 made huge improvements on the current gen of systems while pes just dissapointed. CUrrently Fifa is the better game
And if you want to argue graphics you be the judge here is a link to faces of the same players on both games some look better on PES some look better on FIFA for some reason PES's cover guy messi looks more realistic in fifa lol
Okay there... If PES is for advanced players, why all the "advanced" players playing Fifa 10 then? You are the one who prefers the AI to do almsot all the work for you. Nothing advanced there. Sorry but PES does not feel like football. No need to argue about it. Football fans play FIFA 10. PES is for the arcade lovers!
