Hi All: first post here... what a great site!

Does anyone know a good way to head / volley shots on goal straight into the ground so they bounce... i can only ever do it by accident.

Thanks

Maybe it has to do with the height of the player's jump so he gets up higher so can head it lower. Timing of the jump perhaps.

A cheeky alternative which could do something similar when heading towards goal could be to use X [the pass button] instead. It works well sometimes, such as from corners.

And Welcome!

An even cheakier alternative is to mis-head the ball, so they don't connect properly. Normally deceives the keeper (if you're near enough) and the ball just bounces into the ground. I'm afraid I can't tell you how to do it though (I don't know myself).

Volleys are distinctly easier to hit into the ground than into the top corners, I find. Those swivel volleys from low crosses normally strike into the ground, don't they? To do those the ball needs to be at a reasonably low height, and when it's approaching press and hold square |¯| down from an earlier time.

I've completed ML a few times now on 5* and have just started the whole ML again from scratch on 5* which is quite frustrating at times but what does amaze me is how well some of the ML default donkeys like Iouga can head the ball into the net from corners!!

I'm having another question about heading, I've asked it before but no reply was made

How do you CLEAR the ball with the head when defending, X as well as square often head the ball straight up or down-sometimes directly placing it perfectly for an opponent. What is this, I never had the problem in former pes games (playin pes 3 now of course) Do you have to press up or down instead of left or right on the directional pad when heading.....The typical problem is after a corner or centre my defender stands properly before the FW at the second post, wins the duel without any problem but stupidly heads the ball in the direction he's facing at the 1st post leading to a stupid given away goal: FRUSTRATING
