mate, you have to register the unlocked players into teams before you can play them. I.e. create a new team like say Bayern Munich then register all their players into the team and then register the team into the ML to play. Ditto for the other players/teams. When u start a new ML, there's an option that asks if you want to have Classic Players in your ML file. If you put "yes" then you'll see all the Unlocked players in that ML file. Beware though, that means the CPU teams probably will buy all the best classic players: Real Madrid ALWAYS bought Maradona in my previous ML files.
