Highest Performance rating -defender

Seriously, I have got a ten on two hattricks (separate occasions), one by Ronaldinho and the other by Vieri. Sometimes, I may a 9. I guess it boils down the number mistakes made. The highest I got for a defender was 8 when I used Cygan as a centre back. I was expecting a high rating because throughout the match he hardly made any mistake.MarkyP said:Me too - won 5 - 0 and striker got 3 goals but only a 8.5 rating

I dislike the way players are rated in pes3. They are all rated in the same areas i.e. shooting, dribbling, passes ect. defenders are rated in these areas but because they very rarely shoot at goal or go on dribbles up the field they only get a low rating, even though they defended really well for the whole 90 minutes. each position in the game needs to have its own set of rating critera. e.g. for a defender, they should be rated on tackles made, headers won, shots blocked etc. This would give every player in the game the chance to get high ratings and not just the strikers.

The highest I’ve scored on the ratings with any player is 9.0. I think you need to be 100% successful in all areas of a players game (i.e. his passing, dribbling, shots to goals etc) to get a 10.

ive noticed tho rating is partly to do with what level youve got it on, highest you can get on 1* is 8 no matter how many goals a player scores

Samuel and Ayala both got a 9 as centre backs in the same match for Argentina without scoring, they just made alot of interceptions, tackles and didnt make any mistakes.
This was aganst me and 5 mates, we played on fix mode with 3 attackers and 3 behind them.we won 1-0 but Samuel and Ayala played brilliant.

I disagree with the opinion that the rating system sucks.
You may score five goals, but it can be because the opposing team was playing poorly and made some mistakes. I got a 9.5 for Van Gogh's hat-trick in ML, but that was because he played exceptionally well, and the opponents couldn't do much about it. On the other hand, your striker can score 4 or 5 goals without doing much - of course he'll get only 8 because it was almost effortless. My goalies don't get it higher than 6.5 or 7.0 -- that might be due to the fact that I don't allow many shots on goal, so even with a clean sheet and a few 1-on-1 stops they get only around 6.5 .
Of course the team that loses gets lower ratings because they couldn't win - that's pretty obvious.
