I still do leagues and cups most days. Just look out for the events on Rankings. If you want a mini-league someone get it set up and I'm in!

I don't mind organising this but before I do... two questions.

Do we use an option file/patch rather than the dreaded default?

How do we determine who plays as who, first come first served or choose who you want at the time?

Tournament was good last night.

It was going well, the first match I drew & the second I won. Then the third against someone called LuisCorreira, I went a goal up just before half-time and it was looking good. Only he got another player involved in the second half and as you may know it can really benefit in attacking. I successfully held out till the 88' minute, then they go and score. :realmad:

Because of that I missed out on the second round, losing out to a +1 goal difference. :(

Despite that, I look forward to participating in future events. :)

Yeah i heard about him, he beat Mike in the final, which is a farce if you ask me. If someone had atleast pm'd me that he was playing 2 against 1 i would have kicked him.

Sorry I guess I should have let you known. My bad.

I can't believe they won it though. Even with two players I should have won. You know those games where you go a goal up and try to close out the match, you hit the post a few times but luck is not on your side and you eventually get scored on in the last minute? Well that was that game.

Yeah i know exactly how you feel, it happens to me all the time.

Dont worry mate it's not your fault, lots of people played him but no-one said a word. In future tourny's he plays himself or doesn't play atall.

Oh yeah I just didn't want to give you the impression that that rant was aimed a little at you, being the organiser 'n' all. But that's life, or more to the point that's someone needing a fellow bummer to help fight his battles with him. :D

Anyway if any of you fellow insighters hold an event post a link and do this again. I'm not a sore loser, honest. :laugh:

Cheers for setting up the tourney Rangers was a good one.

I lost 2-0 in the semi to Phatmann, bloody laptop crashed and there wasn't time for a rematch, it definitely looked like i'd have pulled a goal back, but i don't think i'd have got 2 so a loss was fair.

I had a charmed game in the 1/4 too, beating frankuk 6-2, usually i can't finish for shit, this time everything went in.

I thought someone said in the lobby during the group stage that Luis was co-opping.
The amount of space you can generate and get into for the killer pass when in co-op is immense.

Any more tourneys i'll be glad to join, prob get battered stupid but its all fun.
