Play 4-3-3:
-----------------GK-------------------
-------------CB------CB---------------
SB----------------------------------SB
-----------------DM-------------------
--------CM----------------------------
-----------------------AM-------------
---------------------------------------
--------SS----------------------WG---
---------------------------------------
------------------CF--------------------
When counter-attacking, send the ball to either the SS or WG and send crosses in to the box.
When you have the ball in your own half (not counter-attacking), slowly pass it on the floor from one SB to the CBs and to the other SB, then switch it back to the first SB with a long ball, then do a very long high through ball to the WG (L1 and hold down O for long). This should set the WG free, either to cut in and score, or cross.
Hope that help.

If you have SB's, move one of your CMF's slightly over to the left, and your AMF slightly over to the right to give you more width that the WB's would have given. Your DMF needs to be strong and your CMF's need to be quality passers if possible. A speedy AMF is adviseable to get up and help the lone striker.
Sit back and soak up the pressure, you should have enough back to conquer the 4 AMF's and 2 CF's. Use the counter attack to spring out. From his attacks his 6 attackers will be stranded. Use your Centre midfielders to move the ball up quickly and try and use one-twos between the AMF and CF.
And of course you need a bit of luck...

Zygalski said:I'd suggest for you to use the wings as he has no cover there so you should be able to do a lot of damage. So try a formation with two wide and high SMFs.
Ideas: 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2 with 2 DMFs (or 1 DMF and 1 CMF) with 2 SMFs and either 2 CFs or 1 CF with a SS behind to link up the play.
With 4 at the back and 2 defensive central mids you should be able to withstand his attack and smash him up on the counter-attack.
