It looks like Seabass backed the right horse when he announced that the next-gen installment of PES would be an XBOX 360 exclusive, and the latest news from the Sony camp may have confirmed this.

In a shock report via BBC news from the Digital Life Expo in New York, Sony have DELAYED the launch of the PS3 until 2007!!!! Click or copy/paste the link below for the lowdown:

Jesus titty fcuking christ. This is not the sort of thing i was wanting to hear at all. I don't want to buy an XBOX 360, and yet i want to experience PES6 in next-gen style. This is truely a pain in the rump.

chill lads......the large fanbase of we/pes palayers konami gained was from the play station owners and players....i think they do not want to disadvantage them whatsoever and probably release we10/pes6 when ps3 comes out....just my hunch

Something will work out for PS2 imo, although it will basically just be a transfer update with new teams and some minor gameplay changes, which I wouldn't mind buying for the PS2.

There's also the PC so no need to waste money on Xbox 360 :)

Maybe its a blessing they have put it back, Maybe Konami should have put releasing PES5 back a wee bit and iron out the stupid errors i.e weather.

Never gonna buy an XBOX 360 tho thats for sure not going down that road.

How low will Microsoft go, cant they realise their console doesn't have the pulling power. When I watched a progamme about the release abroad PlayStation has like 70% of the gaming market. Facts speak for themselves
