Started out with my french little protegé, whose name I completely stole from the James Bond franchise - René Mathis (MATHIS in-game). I chose CF as my position, seeing as I prefer to be a Target Man.

I started the game at Amateur, seeing as I have only recently got the game and haven't learned all the nifty tricks yet (though I have learned enough basics to actually being able to PLAY the game). Also, I only had a keyboard to play with at this point.

In the first match, with Babilayna, I started out on top. After a goalless first half, we came back on to score 3 goals where 2 of them were from myself. Post-match came a few offers and I took the one I felt was most rewarding - Paris St-Germain.

The season started out relatively good. It took me about 6-7 games until I was actually playing a first team game but I wasn't complaining. Neither was the manager as I scored a goal in my first match and assisted to another. And as the season went on, I was being rotated at the top (PSG plays a 4-4-1-1) with Mateja Kezman but never really getting a firm position as a starter.

W lost in the cup to Le Mans with a total of 1-9. Mind you, I played in neither of the games. But the league was not a total failure. With about 5 games to go, we had secured the league with about 12 points ahead of Lyon.

Negotiations came and no major offer from a big team so I decided to stick with PSG. This time around, we were gonna play in the Champions League.

About halfway into the season, I got kinda annoyed by the trend of us not scoring goals (The 4-4-1-1 was failing, badly) so I feigned injury and skipped every match up until the january window, hoping that a better team would come with an offer. But no, no one came.

Well, Robinho did. To us.

Newfound hope. With such a star, I decided that I could stick around with PSG for a while longer. Back in the first team right away (Kezman was tired), I helped salvage what little hope we had of remaining in the running for the league title.

Champions League went straight to hell (I never played many matches in the group stage due to "injury") so we set our sights on the UEFA Cup. A number of high profile teams were in it, among them Valencia and Manchester United. We beat the former in the first knockout round with a total of 6-1 (I scored 4 of those 6 and quickly established myself as a top scorer in the Cup). A few matches later and we were in the final, agains't just Manchester United.

Two early goals by me and Stéphane Sessegnon meant we had a lead going into the second half. Dimitar Berbatov scored one for Man U and they started pushing hard for an equalizer. Eventually, I was subbed out and - knowing my teams defensive weakness and lack of attacking prowess on top - I started chewing fingernails. But we held them at 2-1 and we're crowned winners. I recieved the Top Scorer award.

The League had by now become a very hard rout between (again) ourselves and Lyon. We managed to clinch the title by winning the penultimate match and staying three points ahead of Lyon with about 11 goals to our advantage. The celebrations were done in the last match though, due to the league not being actually decided. Here too, I finished in top of the goalscoring list.

I was now called up to the France squad for the World Cup. In the first match agains't Russia, we were pinned back by a penalty goal from Pavel Pogrebnyak. I got subbed in at the 63' and scored a goal in my first run. This was followed up by a header from Henry and the win was a fact.

The second match was agains't South Africa. The only goal in the match was scored by myself, a header on a corner in the later minutes of the match. Yet, these goals did not warrant me a start in the last match agains't Saudi Arabia. The manager started with Saha and Govou. This turned out to be disastrous, since the match ended 1-1. But we were through and were facing Ghana in the knockout round.

Again, no start. The manager must've figured we'd breeze through because he chose Djibril Cissé and Louis Saha to start (weird, Djibril hadn't played a single game in the world cup and Saha had been playing poorly). So we got pinned back. 2-0. I wasn't even subbed in (He chose Anelka instead, kept Cissé on the field) and we were out.

Now I'm starting the third season, still at PSG since no major team came forward and wanted me. A major name added to the squad was Ricardo Kaka', the star from AC Milan. Robinho had now left the club (was it a loan?).

Season 1

14 goals in the league, no goals in the cup, no internationall callup.

Season 2

18 goals in the league (Top Goalscorer), 2 goals in the Ligue 1 Cup, 9 goals in the UEFA Cup (Top Goalscorer), 2 goals in the World Cup w/ France

Trivia: Benzema was the second best scorer in the league, yet was not even called up for the france squad. The managers ARE really dumb.

^ French coash is Domenech. That's why lol.

btw, I started as DMF becuz it gives you high Agility + body balance + stamina so I basically run all over the floor having like 10 intercepts and even goals when lucky. i'm trying to get some kickicng skillz to be CF one day! its my 4th season (in tottenham) and the trend of my guy's stats is lookin like Park Ji-Sung (good stamina+running but not so good shooting)
but i am still dreaming to be like del piero!

In 24 matches (1st season) I scored 27 goals. I'm still with Atalanta and we're playing in the champions league. It's true, we just got a 0-0 against Barcelona away. Now the home league.
I have an average rating of 7.25

I admit to playing at the second lowest difficulty (Amateur) because I haven't learned all the nifty tricks of the game yet. Moved up to Regular prior to the third season.

I'm near the end of my first season. I scored 40 goals in 38 matches (with Atalanta). We are in the cup final and 1st in serie A. I am the top scorer of serie A, D1 cup and believe it or not in champions league. I scored 8 goals (we got knocked out by Barcelona in quarter finals) and yet, I am still top scorer of CL because Barcelona were KO'd by chelsea an Eto'o didn't score. Eto scored 5 only. I got lucky.
Also I got an average rating of 7.21.

i'm in my 5th season with Spurs and have reached almost bent-like heights as i struggle to get one goal every dozen games or so :)

I played for Hull, West Brom and then Blackburn beforehand though - actually won the Champions League with Blackburn.

I think i'm going to realistically go down to amateur level at the end of the current season as I'm going to end up smashing something :)

despite taking Newcastle to three successive league titles and a Champions League title I ended up despising my teammates, especially the defenders who seemed to go out of their way to get out of the way of crosses, free kicks, and through balls. just the mere mention of such names as Beye, Taylor, and Capaca is enough to set off the array of facial tics that I have developed over my three years at the club.

thankfully however, Chelsea have bought me in the January transfer window. they play the same 4-3-3 formation as Newcastle so adapting to the system has been easy.
two assists with a 7.5 rating in my second game for the club, a 6-1 rout of Portsmouth, has solidified my place in the first team ahead of Deco who is as slow as molasses. basically my career has become fun again, especially with the outlet of one C. Ronaldo at LWF making for an instant and often productive counter-attack option.

I really hate when that happens. It happened at Portsmouth, Barca and now United. Its as if they cant win when im not playing.

How old is your player? I think im 28 and still cant win it.

In the 2nd season, guess what?
I'm back with Inter. I can't believe Inter already made an offer for me.
I scored 4 goals and 2 assists and I only just begun.

3rd season, halfway through.

Currently playing for Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon) after they made a move for me during the january transfer window.

Always said I'd stick to my dear old league- and Masters Cup winning PSG until a major team came with a good offer and this was it.

Bye Paris :(
