How can a friend start playing instead of the computer during a cup match? I like to play a cup with friends, however after buying PES 2008 the computer won't allow my friend to play. In player settings the controller won't move over to the other side it only goes on to coach mode. Does anyone know how or if you can play against another player instead of the computer?

You can't it is to prevent people from switching teams to score own goals ;)

Only way is during exhibition matches.
