I don't really give a shite about superficial things. The game's awesome and great fun, i just want to be able to play online on the same team as all my mates in England, and reak havoc. Is there any chance they can update the online features after the game's released? And bring in 10v10?

No, that's a common mistake, but a mistake nevertheless..

A player's Passing Range is very easy to accomplish, the PES series does Not haves enough stats for it -and- it shouldn't be "fixed" by simply introducing a Stat for "Vision" or Passing Range.

Simple, scratch the Old; Short Passing Accuracy, Short Passing Speed, Long Pass Accuracy, and Long Pass Speed -replace them with- Short Ground Pass, Long Ground Pass, Lobbed Short Pass (chipped pass), Lobbed Long Pass, and Passing Technique.

That's pretty much problem Solved, players with great passing Range will have good "Short Ground Passing" and "Long Ground Passing" ability -whereas- strikers such as Romario who was very good with Intricate Short Ground Passes -but- you never saw him creating Plays from Deep Positions a-lo-Riquelme-Valderrama-Pirlo.

A player such as Romario would have a great "Short Ground Passing" skill, but an average "Long Ground Passing" skill. Therefore he is a player with good passing ability -but- average Passing Range.

New Passing Stats, if used Properly, would introduce "Realistic Restrictions" into an already decent game.

Bottom Line?? The current set of Stats and Special Abilities CANNOT establish this Fundamental Differences. A player's Passing Range is non-existent, and without it, How do you Differentiate Del Piero from Riquelme?

oh absolutley agreed then.

however, i dont agree on a vision stat. thats just retarded and is only for autopassing fags.

oh absolutley agreed then.

A "Vision" Stat would NEVER work, it would be too Inaccurate. It's better to simply distinguish Short Ground Passes -from- Long Ground Passes.. and Short Lobbed Passes -from- Long Lobbed Passes.

Those 4 Stats would effectively Determine each players Passing Range.

David Beckham; great "Long Lobbed Passing" and "Long Ground Passing" skills -but- Average "Short Ground Passes".. he was never good in tight spaces.

Romario or Pele; great "Short Ground Passes" -but- Not so great "Long Ground Passes".

Riquelme; great "Short Ground Passes", "Long Ground Passes", Short Lobbed Passes", and "Long Lobbed Passes".

I could keep going.. but you probably already get the Point. New Passing Stats would further Differentiate each Individual, and considering Konami knows How to make Stats work and reflect In the Gameplay.. they should keep elaborating on that Approach that worked for them so well in the Past.

New Stats would Introduce "Realistic Restrictions" into an already Decent game.

By Realistic Restrictions I mean; if you have a player such as Romario, then you would be Restricted into Not making Passes from Deep Positions (Long Ground Passes) and -instead- playing to his "strengths", wich are playing the Short Ground Pass in tight spaces -and- end up scoring Goals.

Football is all about Restrictions, and playing to your Strengths -instead- of the opposite. This makes Football a TEAM game, it is not (usually) decided by One Individual -but- a Collective Unit of Individuals.

And what should Dictate How the TEAM plays?? Each player's Stats and Special Abilities. So Logically, the more Realistic (and Accurate) the Stats and Special Abilities are -the- better the game will be.

Anyways, I Also think "Dribbling Accuracy" and "Dribbling Speed" -are- very Generic, it would be great if Konami Divided those 2 Stats into; "Step Overs", "Explosiveness", "Shielding Ability", "Body Feints", "Flicking the Ball", etc, etc.. the BASIC Dribbling skills.

Maybe also include; "Nutmegs" as a Special Ability.

Bottom Line of this rant?? I think Konami should work on their "Strengths", and one of their strengths is that they actually Know how to make Stats Relevant In the actual Gameplay.

So, maybe a Next Gen System of Stats and Special Abilities could be the Foundation for a proper Next Gen PES.

different nets for each stadium would add to the realism of the game and i can imagine that could be done with a patch. i just hope the game goes back to being a simulation rather than an arcade mess

Lets keep this thread more on the level of constructive suggestions that are reasonable in a patch. There have been some good suggestions so far. Lets keep them rolling in that direction, thanks!

* Bring back the Tilt (1-9) camera angle
* Give player freedom to alter camera angles like FIFA 09
* Completely re-do player animations - they are just a joke at the moment
* Keeper Fumbles - see above for comment
* New commentary, enough of these two clowns
* Better graphics, they are being hammered by FIFA in the looks department
* AI - why won't my forwards make runs for me when I want to play them in!!!!!
* AI again - and get wingers to stay on the fucking wing - there is no width!!!!!
* AI yet again - stop players clustering around the ball like a fucking playground!!!!

I think the demo is absolute arse, can you tell?!
