how can you have 2 players on the same team?

Hi all, I am new here...

I was playing online PES5 for the first time a couple of days ago, and I came across this player who seem to have 2 players on his team? (as he had 2 arrows in his team, one blue and one purple...)

How do you do that? do they just have 2 joysticks plugged into the same machine? So two of them, one of me, then led to them being more positive at attacking, so it did turned into a slaughter... in the end, lost 6-2 or something... I just lost count after a while

And then he started to be cheeky, swearing and insulting. That's fine by me, personally, as you grow with age, you just take them in. It just shows how low-class you are really, that's not a problem with me at all. I used to live in a rough area, so I am used to that.

But doesn't that just kill your night if you were just trying to have fun and meet some people there???

Not much help here as I'm new to pes5 online too but I played on ps2 last night and had a match against 2 players. They went with Chelsea and I was Bolton. First half finished 0-0 and at full time it was 6-0 to me. They wanted to play again and this time it was one of them who i also managed to win against. which was nice.

You may just need to get experience of playing against more than one player, I'm used to playing 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4 too.

And try to ignore the childish comments by people online, they just prove what losers they can be by writing that kind of rubbish.

I think people can play 2 vs 1 if, for instance, they have a mate round and plug another controller into the port.

Their mate then presses start at the team selection or formation screen and hey presto! It's a 2 on 1 situation. I used to love playing 2 on 1 (against me) but that was about a week into playing online.

Now, people are better and you can really be punished from corners especially. For example, if they get a corner, one player can run around freely in your box and if you pick him up, you then leave another player, either unmarked in the box, or alone just outside it to (X) pass to.

And on this game, unlike PES4, if you don't pick players up in the box by manually pressing L1 (to switch players), the opposing strikers WILL win the header; either to miss, or score, as they wish.

For this reason, unless i feel lucky, i just switch the ps2 off as soon as i see it's 2 vs 1, cowardly maybe, but whatever.

playing against 2 players is difficult and I normally get beat unless they don't know what they are doing. my latest tactic v 2 players is to run with the ball toward player 2 and try to suck player 1 into following me. tried it a couple of times and seems to work well so far.

Yeah i find it quite hard, there is another thread on this a little bit back, but will never just give up on the match because it is two v 1.

2 players can e predictable, you know that they will always try and pass to their mate when around the box, so I just make sure a can intercept the pass (I know ts not that easy as there is more to it than that!).

Also they can leave big holes at the back when they both pull defenders out of position...

back on topic i played against 2 people on the net and was winning two nil right up til about the 80th minute then they scored to gay quick fire goals...

I played two players last night. Firstly they picked Milan after I did so I thought "oh I see, fair enough, that's fine" and during the first half I, please excuse me, raped them down the wings.

In the second, however, after a little discussion I assume, they made sure only one came for me and the other followed my winger. I suffered a mini-collapse at around 4am and lost badly even though they weren't very good.
