How Deep Will Edit Mode be ???

i spend most of the time on this mode until i have everything as good as it can be so i hope it is as good as, if not better than the edit system from pes 5

Well it sounds good from what I have heard. They have gone back to the old skool editing (same as PS2 old PES) where you can fully update emblems, logos etc (the old grid editor that was used). So you can get kits accurate.
Ther best thing I heave heard is that you can import mp3 files and attach them to teams! So imagine "You'll Never Walk Alone" been played while playing with Liverpool, or "UNITED! UNITED! WHILE PLAYING WITH Man Utd! You can make it you own personal game!

i read on someones post today that maybe the 360 edit mode wont be as deep as the ps2's. have you heard this kopite?

Don't know unfortunately. Sorry. The magazine is for Playstaion consoles only so no mention of 360 version. It would be lazy not to do the same for 360.
I personally go for playability over licences but a lot of people will choose Fifa over Pes just for the licences. I know a few people starting to choose Fifa over Pes (never thought that day would come) as the playbility has caught up now. So Konami need to pull all the stops out!

quality if you can add crowd chants in 
there'll be a good atmosphere about the game now since a lot of people have always complained about the crowd!
I hope they have a boot editor again, even though they have Adidas, Nike & Puma boots now

i used to spend ages on PES6 making the liverpool and spain badges. with the pixel editor i was able to get it spot on so hopefully its in.
what about the premier league name n numbers? the ones in PES2008 didnt really look like the official ones, yet they stil had the old ones.

Can't really tell until someone from Konami releases something to the press that mentions the edit mode. Last year for PES2008 I can remember a video and screenshots being released of the edit mode in that game so hopefully we'll get something similar for PES2009 soon.
I'm personally hoping for the PES6 edit mode (PC/PS2 version) with added extras and more options.

well i know what i am going to do for nearly everything...
i wil get a Football manager patch, and drag all kits faces and chants out of that and once i know how to import i will be using those...

I just want better Editing for the Kits, wich I always thought wasn't that great to begin with. Would like the Option of placing Logos in the "Socks" and in the sides of the shirts.
And I want the Face Editing to go back to the way it was in PES5, with the 300+ Faces and 100+ Hairstyles.
It was a great Face Editing in my opinion -because- with the right Face and Hairstyle we could create accurate versions of Average Players who didn't had their real Faces -or- Classic Players who's Default settings are cheap-looking Faces and random Names.
An easy and yet accurate way of creating Average and Classic Players. I just don't like the look of the Random Faces, they make the game feel and Look so Cheap.
Kit Editing and Face Editing, those are the things I want to see Improved in the Editing Mode.
Oh and apart from that, little Details are Always Significant features.. Untucked shirts, Special Hairstyles, Logos on the Socks, Logos on the Sides of the shirt, etc, etc..
Would love to see Carlos Valderrama's trademark Afro in the game as a "Special Hairstyle", considering that Hair "moves" now (If only slightly), it would be cool to have a ridiculously huge Afro as an option.
Would also like a feature that gives me the option of Tweaking with the Shorts, maybe make them a little Shorter -as- the Shorts I've seen in all the pics look too Baggy, since when are Football Shorts that Big??
Anyways, just naming some of the Details I'd like to see in the game.

yes i like your point on the logo's for the sides of the shirt, maybe like having similar ones to prem badges. like master league division 1 or 2 and european cup logos

And with the "Importing" thing we have it would be cool, having the Spanish La Liga Logo on the side of the shirt, etc, etc.. We could make Any League Look and Feel Realistic.
I have always thought that the Team Editing was never that "great" to begin with, would like to see New Options such as; placing Logos on the Socks, and placing Logos on the Sides of the shirts.
That's how I distinguished Licensed Teams -from- Edited Teams. Edited Teams don't have Logos on the Socks -or- on the sides of shirts.
I think it sounds as an easy feature to Implement.. wich makes me ask Why hasn't Konami included that Yet??

The edit mode best be amazing & brilliant, i use the edit mode more then i play the actual matches, with all the bloody editing.

on PES I usually spend ages at first editing players boots & the bigger teams kits, so this year won't be any different..

Yeah, I know what you mean.. tried to do the same with PES08, but was massively disappointed by the worthless Editing Mode.
No Faces, Barely any Hairstyles, No "Special Hairstyles", Classic Players still looked like shite -and- No Team editing..
I just cannot understand WHY PS2 versions had better Editing Modes and Gameplay.. Does it makes sense to you??
