How Deep Will Edit Mode be ???

when the editing was really intricate like in pes 5 i remember many times being halfway through a match and spotting something out of place, like a teams number colour not matching the players name colour, or maybe seeing someone in black boots after just watching match of the day that night and seeing them in blue or white boots.

i was like someone with OCD for the rest of the match just eager to finish the game so i could put it right in the edit mode. this would then lead to me getting side tracked and spending an hour or more just going through different teams or players altering their kit style or celebration type.

sad i know, but i cant think of another game that is so involving beyond the gameplay.

i am probably more exited about the edit mode being improved than i am about the gameplay being supposedly improved. dont get me wrong, i love the game side of it too.

I was the same until last year...

I would really pride my self on having everything almost spot on and would do "spectator" matches just to see if some little things were off...

I hope this year is a return to old and there is no need to rely on someone with a PS Eye, that was a good idea but very lame tbh, digital photo's the way to go...

and i hope there are more than 8 slots this year... i havent noticed anyone put that up yet.. but everything about last years edit mode was off... but i think it was reduced in Editability so that they had something to add to this years version, we all know it is all tweaks when it comes to PES and we always complain not enough has been done, so by removing it and then re-estating it to its full grandure we will all be happy bunnies again...

see now this is why i would rather have no licenses and a kick ass edit mode.

it's a lot of work but at least you can tinker with the kits and stuff, i know fifa brag about having real official kits but have you ever played their manager mode?

season after season in the same strips. i cant remember wich year i played but even gaining promotion your team kept the championship badges on the sleeves. or the opposite if you got relegated.

at least with un licensed teams in master league it is possible to alter your home or away kit after a season or two. even as far as changing sponsor, i always drew a puma, nike adidas or kappa logo via the pixel tool to start with then allocated them to the appropriate teams. and the kit choices you had in pes 5 always had a hint of each manufacturer.

i said on an earlier thread that it would be useful if konami just went to the sports brands and got some form of license for their particular shirt type for the upcoming season, leaving the player to edit the colour and apply the team badges from the pixel editor.

preaching to the chior... You should work for Konami... haha... I am the same, pick a team for master league and each year alternate editing home kit, next season away Kit... loved it... Making spurs have a SONY logo etc and addidas etc...

infact i remember 1 time on PES5 i made a spurs kit that i believed was better than most of the licensed kits on the game, Picture perfect...

I am excited now... lol

I just want better Editing for the Kits, wich I always thought wasn't that great to begin with. Would like the Option of placing Logos in the "Socks" and in the sides of the shirts.

Yes I 'd love to see logo's on socks and shorts. Would make kits even more realistic

Haven't a clue as I read it in PSM3. I'd assume you would just transfer an mp3 file your PS3 (using a memory stick) then somehow put it in the game.

If you can use any mp3 files then go to http://www.fanchants.com/. They have all football team chants on there. They cost to download but you can listen to them. So if you are very clever with a pc you can probably, (I'm just guessing now! ) record the sound with a mobile, save it on your mobile, transfer the file it to pc, then change it from it's file type (most like "amr") to mp3 and Bob's you uncle! Free mp3 sounds!

Or you can just wait until an option file comes out and use that instead!

My deepest desire is for Konami to make the edit mode enormous, as in you can edit everything, from stadiums, balls, cups, pitch patterns etc. That would be awesome, and if they can manage something like this it would revolutionize gaming! lol

that will never happen:no:

I know it's a bit off Topic -But- has anyone noticed just how Huge the Shorts are in PES09?? I mean, since when are Football Shorts that huge and baggy?

I think players look better and more Realistic in PES09 -but- the Shorts definitely look more realistic in FIFA09.

I know it's nothing to be worried about, but it just annoys me. I mean, WHY are the shorts so huge??

Would like to see that fixed in the Final Build, although I doubt it will happen.
