How do I edit an option file for PS3?

Hello guys, I am very new here and I need some help. I downloaded an option file created by a fan and I was wondering if I can edit some of the contents. The file contains several folders. Inside every folder there's a DATA.BIN, PARAM.PFD, PARAM.SFO and a PNG document. Does anyone know how to edit these files? I just want to edit/create a league cup. What software do I need to download in order to edit these files? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

See the ps3 save data editing thread in the Editing forum. You can't really 'create a league cup' in any other ways than the in-game editor allows you, but you can do plenty of other things. :)
