I have managed to insert kits using Graphic studio but get the problem with bluring from distance.
When I've tried to insert kits using kitserver all I get is a transparent kit.
Please help.

use game graphic studio to set the opacity to 100%

load the kit and click the little black sqaure and save

Set opacity to 100% - done, haven't tried clicking on the black square (the one next to opacity setting, yeah?) and this should correct the problem of blurring/mosiac effect on kits from a distance?

"It's so simple it might just work"

dito

er, dito dito dito and dito.

I am having the same problem as yourself and haven't been able to correctly input a kit into PES 5 for PC using graphic studio.

Tried using kitserver and funnily enough the kits went in and everything seemed okay until started playing and then exactly the same problem occured.

Excellent detail up close, crap/mosiac/rubbish from any other distance.

I have trawled through all the message boards on this subject and people are either unsure what the problem is or how it can be rectified, or just plain don't want to help, at least it seems that way.
Was this problem never experienced on previous versions of PES or is it just that PES 5 is really tricky to be able to insert kits into.

Please, please, please help us.

this is exactly what im saying. Everyone's having problems editing pes5 and creating the tools for editing PES5 (i think obocaman is on his 4th release of graphic studio since pes5 got released, juice is on his 2nd or 3rd kitserver and he's not totally happy with it, but acording to jim i just talk shit so what d fuk do i know???
If i were you id forgett about manually inserting the kits into the afs for now and download the latest version of kitserver, then download somebodys KDB folder (goto evoweb)
KDB Folder by Vicious and v1c7or is the one i got. You have to set all your kits to default ingame, there are some errors like collars etc which you'll have to change ingame but its a good start. It has all english prem kits, however some of them are wrong for example they have everton home and everton third strip but no away, so you have to make a few changes.

yeah these programs work for pes4 just not really pes5 yet. Here is a quote from Obocaman (the guy who makes Graphic studio) he's reffering to the kits looking good up close and then looking shite from a distance:

"I'm starting to give up. After a lot of tries, i'm now pretty sure that the problem with the PC and Xbox kits is due to the encryption routine, and i don't know how to solve it.

Maybe it's time to Warpjavier and RCE to come up again..."

JUST HAVE TO USE KITSERVER, which isnt really a bad thing.

HI, I've used kitserver and I get the same results with kitserver that I do with entering the kit directly into the AFS file. The kits look great up close but once again from distance the either disappear or appear scrambled in some way.
The team that I am trying to edit/input is Leeds united and as they're not premiership or any other league that Konami deem necessary, I will have to edit them myself, which at the moment seems to be in vain.

I think the problem is in the png file we use... there's something with trasparency... I tried to use an original file and replacing it with a new png using the same colour table but it doesn't work

Download KDB Folder by Vicious and v1c7or on evo web. put the KDB folder in your kitserver replacing the old folder, uninstall kitserver, and then re-install it again. Done all kits working!!!!!!!

I DID IT!!!!

I used Wepicture decoder 1.9 to import the new png file for as Roma over the old pes4 file.

Then I set the inverted transparency to white. Then I exported the new png file and renamed with team code.

Then I used kitserver to insert it in pes5

Here's the result :D

And what happens if we don't have PES 4?
I think that this needs clarifying please.
What about trying to import a kit for a team that's not in the game?
I thought that was half of the idea behind being able to customise the game.

I personnally don't want to use kitserver as I spend a lot of time in the edit mode (when you make faces you have to) . I don't want to uninstall it every time to prevent my game from crashes .
