i have a ps2 and pro evo obvisouly... i also have a 2mb broadband connection..... what else will i need to buy and how much will it cost etc? will there b a lot of wires? and is it free 2 play? thanks

its free on konami's side , your service provider might try and charge you somthing but the majority don't and no wires jus put the ethernet cable into your ps2
if you have the slim line ps2 put the broadband cable into the ps2, and follow the instuctions
if you have the big one you have to go and buy an network adapter

Theres 3 ways to hhok it up online.
1) Wireless connection-expensive complicated and not very ggod for gaming
2) Router as above but simpler
3) Easiest and cheapest and best for gaming. Get some crossover RJ45 cable, also known as CAT-5 cable. Remember ask for crossover type! Remember to get a reasonable length cable as if you play your ps2 in another room it has too reach. Costs £4-£7 for 10-20meters delivered. £20 in PC world(dont let them rip you off get it from ebay)
You have to have an ethernet output connection in your pc. If you dont they cost about £5 and you can simply plug it in once you take of the case. Or like ne being lazy and probably muck that up get a USB Ethernet connector-cheap on ebay£10.
1) Star computer go to network setup. Use Wizzard to set up connection to another device. took me about 3 attempts to get it going coz I'm a complete novice. Have the ps2 running and just register your details when you go into network mode and away you go.

i have a slimlined ps2 i also have a router, but how do i connect? i dont know how to set-up the whole connection setting and getting registered.

can i connect to a wireless network, but using the normal wire methods (ethernet), because i cant be arsed buying a bridge adaptor, cheers
