I am having great difficulty setting up a personalised league when my mates come over. e.g. if 4 of my mates come round, how do i set up a league where the four of us just play each other without any COM teams. I have managed to set it up within the Konami Cup where it is just a league but you are only allowed to play eachother once. Whereas, in Pes2, you could set up a league where you can play as many games as you want and it records all the results and points. Hope someone can help??

you could do a season and all pick 3 teams to be out of 12 (i think you can make it out of 12, or all pick 4 - or 5 - etcetera)
so every time one of your teams comes up to play you play as them

Maybe a Round Robin tournament, with Home and Away on, in Konami Cup is the closest you can get?
One format I've found that works well is to do proper tournaments without any COM teams at all.
Let players in turn pick a seed in each group, then if the numbers require it, a second team.
Then it builds pressure into games, whether you can through to the next round (or with two teams, get both through and eliminate the opposition). How many goals you need to scrape through goal difference. Carrying injuries and booking from round to round. The tension in the semi-finals and final are incredible.
Even rubbish teams versus the favourites work well if you can hold them to 0-0 for 75 mins, they really start to sweat.
Playing through the proper draw for the Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal this summer is good, a topical choice. But Latvia aren't in the game, so there's one wildcard place you can choose.

Just set a tournament up the old fashioned way, get a piece of paper, a pen and get everybody 2 pick a team. Then just play it through exhibition match's, and record the results!!!!
