How do you pass the ball in this game! Every time I pass the ball using the D-pad, the CPU would pass the ball to an entirely different player. I have lost count of the amount of times I have lost the ball, due to the CPU auto passing the ball to the nearest player, regardless of how hard, I press X button! (Manual passing the ball is too hard)

In addition how do you win headers in this game! Every time the CPU outjumps me, regardless of my player's height. This is how the cheating CPU scores a later goal, usually resulted from a corner kick! How can rectify this problem?

You either have a seriously faulty pad, or your holding R1 all the time which is a no no this time round or your on some class A drugs dude

watch the radar look for players in space keep an eye out for the runs they make movement is the key.Also if you just press pass it will go to the nearest player but if you have a player in frount of him on the wing hold pass it will pass the ball longer.

I really don't understand your problem...
If its "normal" passing use "X".. Hold it harder to pass it to a player farther away...
For "through" passes hold "triangle"... works preety fine.. Although it's not that easy to fool the defence as it was in PES4
If its long pass you want use "square"...
NOTE: Passing is a bit more complicated that older PES versions because AI isn't that stupid anymore... Most passes that come near an oponent are intercepted..

Don't use the D-pad, but the left analogue stick to aim for passing... then press A to pass. Hold longer for people further away, and make sure you're at least facing them a bit. Also, don't one-touch with players who have a low rating for that skill, and just pass to people who are 'open'.

My problem is regarding the auto passing mechanism the game employs. If you have two players in close proximity, the CPU would pass the ball to the nearest player as oppose to the one you intended it to go. For example, I crossed the ball into the penalty area. I pass the D-pad goal wards so my player could score a goal. But no, the player instead heads the ball into the opposite direction because there is a player close to him! I am aware that manually passing the ball would help rectify matters but, that is too complicated to use in the heat of a match.
