How do you score goals on TOP PLAYER LV?

Hi there,

I played PES 2011 both BAL and ML for quite a long time since last December(if having spare time and in good mood). I actually like playing
ML more, because in BAL my retarded teammates and messed up transfers spoiled my game.

Now i would like to discuss with other PES gamers about what attacking
methods and ways you use to score goals on TOP PLAYER LEVEL.

I summed up some attacking ways for scoring goals:

1, From both wings; running down along wings near the bottom line then passing to the middle in front of opponent goal and your CF will finish off with a header or a volley.

2, Through midfield area; passing the ball around in midfield area and trying to deliver piercing through passes for 1on1 or seek for spaces to
have shot on goal including long rangers. Or maybe using combined low
and high passes to give the ball to CF, so he can break through opposition's final defensive line.

3, From 45 degrees angle; from this angle sometimes i can deliver some
nice through passes to my CF, or organizing a mixed wing attack and 45
degrees angled attack to confuse COM defenders and find opportunities
to strike fast. This could be complicated and not very productive.

4, By using long ball passes from your own half(usually high passes) straight to your CF upfront. It requires good passers like pirlo or xavi alonso to deliver the pinpoint passes to you CF, you also need some luck with it.

5, By set pieces; direct free kicks, so far i scored only 3 goals using direct free kicks.Tricky to control the greenish power gauge bar. sometimes i got lucky the ball deflected off to the net. Corner kicks can also result in heading goals, but you need to be lucky enough to score headers from corner kicks.

6, Taking adventage of opponents mistakes; sometimes opposition
defenders stick with the ball for too long and dont pass it away to their
teammates quickly enough then your CF takes off the ball and sprint towards the goal and put it away, it happened occasionally but quite funny to score goals this way.

There must be other good ways of scoring goals in PES 2011, please
share your views and thoughts for ways of scoring goals with me and
other PES gamer. How do you score most of your goals on TOP PLAYER
LEVEL? what is your best way to score?

I just do not understand this, nobody wants to talk about how they score goals and not even a word for it. I dont think thats top serect, maybe for some it is, but what the heck, why do you play soccer SIM like PES or FIFA in the first place? Scoring fantastic goals! is it not?
dont see the point of all ML gamers keeping silent, this is really really
sad.

There are many ways to score goals, I wouldn't say many gamers would just pick one, if so that would get quite boring very quickly although the "Run the wings and pepper the area with crosses," is possibly the easiest way to score.

My method is more about possession football...no not like Barcelona!! I have read enough threads about "How to make my team play like the European Champions" but I hold on to the ball between the halfway line and the 18 yard box moving the ball around looking for gaps, forward runners or space to run into, this can pull the ball out to the wings or slip a perfectly weighted through ball to a striker, I never know till I see the opportunity.

SAKET my CM is my main guy, he has the Talisman Card so can dictate play and pull off some precise passes, and Sears (bought from West Ham, for about 50p) is great at making runs and is a good finisher. Even with an overall Rating of 68, he has scored more goals this season than anybody else in my team.

Here's my 1st choice team.

I know some of the players are low Overall rating but there teamwork is so high now, I don't need to change them.

I only score goals by corners or by going down the wing and delivering a cross since it is hard to find one on ones at top player. If I am lucky, I can score from counter attacks. By the way, is the Pes 2012 screening today

I cannot score from going down the wings and crossing. I really do not understand the crossing system. Sometimes I cross it and it goes all the way to the other side out of play and then I cross it the same way and it goes in the box.

Due to this situation I use low cross a lot because I cannot do high crosses because it is sooo inconsistant.

I see what you mean playhater11, because this should always happen to me when i tapped the cross button once or twice but i have solved it now. If you press R2 while crossing, it is more accurate and it is not overhit. R2+Cross means High Cross which basically is a lofted cross near the goal so it is more accurate. You can also use this technique on corners

I play on 15 minutes top player, i usually get 1 or 2 goals using first touch pass, i just keep possesion on the middle, just keep doing that till you see 1 un marked men, mor elikely a winger, then you will have options for cross, trough pass or even long shot.
