How does PES4 on PS2 compare to PES4 on X-Box?

Can anyone shed some light on this? I had a mate round last night to show him my fantastic jb patched PES4 on my PS2 and have a few matches. He said that he had only played the X-Box version but I assured him that it was exactly the same game.

When the evening was over he proceeded to tell me that the two games are totally different and that above all the X-Box version is a lot smoother. Is this the case? Or is he just being knob? Cheers peeps!

well the beta version is a lot smoother, no slow down whatsoever. Can tell its a faster machine as some of the cut scenes run too fast so will be slowed down in the final version. Apart from the lack of slowdown it will be the same.

But I thought it had been released on X-Box ages ago? Where did my mates mate get it from then? Wierd! So the gameplay is exactly the same eh?

i got a copy of the finished xbox version and it does seem different. For some reason there seem to be a lot more wayward passes in this version.

just a lot more passes seem to miss their man, and go to the opponent or mainly out for a throw. Ive got the finished thing but not an original.
