Hi, I play PES on the PS2 loads and I love to use R2 a lot of the time, how is the PSP going to manage only having 1 shoulder button each time?

Anyone played WE on it? how have they worked it?

Thanks

Rob

Hi

I havn't played it, but from reading Gamesmatser & the PS2 Magazine, what they have said is that Seasbass has "successfully" got around the missing R2 & L2 buttons, by assigning the side step / drag back & the Offence / Defence control to the 4-way D-Pad - this can be swapped to the analogue stick, if you prfer to dribble to with the D-Pad.

Anyway, although it sounds like it might be trciky to use, the mags however have said that it soon becomes 2nd nature, and Jap Mag Famitsu magazie has awarded it 36/40...so it should be good!

Ahhh I can see what you mean, think that'll be ok, might be a bit confusing for a while as I'll swap to the PS2 one often to play my mate

To answer the title subject, I dont know, got the game today and tried various things but I cant find what is going to compensate for the R2 button on the ps2 pad.

Technically the game is amazing, very little if at all difference with its PS2 brother, the analogue nub spoils it all, way too sensitive and the buttons dont seem as responsive as I would like, cant use the D-pad as I have always used analogue on the ps2 pad, plus it is too close to the left shoulder button, making play uncomfortable.

Looked all over for the controls as well on the net, as they could not have ditched all control for the R2 Button, thats just crazy.

Sorry to de-rail the thread, but I have a quick question. Will it be possible to download option files and patches via the PSP's interweb access, or by bluetoothing from a PC?

I've got it and I can honestly say I haven't got a clue! Being in Japenese is a right pain! Does anyone know where you can get hold of a translation of the manual? I can't even find the master league!
