How is the online play?

Is there lag? what kind of online modes does it have? quick ranked matches, tournaments, 2v2 matches?

If you find a good connection its great, if not there is button lag which ruins games

Much more stable than 09! It seems that the gameplay is a little slower online but ive played 5 games now with not even a hint of lag......unbeaten in all 5 may I add

what about 3vs3 or 4v4? a lot of the other threads are complaining about lag. are they planning on releasing a patch to fix it...or does it not happen all that much?

online play sucks i cant even get 2 player vs 2 player co op online to matchmake me up with a team. it just keeps refreshing itself and when it dose connect it says failed to connect and failed to obtain ranking. only 2 days old and i think it should go back to the shops.

i admit i have been disapointed at the same time ok . there is lag in parts, button lag espeically , cost me a goal aswell. and yes its slower at times, but i have had few good matches but they dont outweigh the bad.

its much much better than last year.

Played online for the first time tonight over a wireless connexion and it's absolutely unplayable. Several seconds delay between pressing a button and anything happening on screen.
