How long is Become A Legend mode?

will you be able to create your own player for this mode or will you have to control a real life player?
either way this mode sounds class, i enjoyed be a pro on fifa but, with their version lasting only 4 seasons, i wont be bothering with the game this time around (its a stupid decision making it only last 4 seasons imo, having league 2 and upwards could make it a great mode but they have really ruined it for themselves with that decision)

I read somewhere that (rumor) that you aren't able to play a existing player you have to start from a self made player

Oh well, thats alright, I'm intending to create a new player anyway so that will suit me fine if it turns out to be true! Cheers.
