Depends on the game. My average is probably around 4. 30-40 sounds crazy. Most of my fouls are offsides anyways!

When playing my brother, I am ashamed if I step off the field with less than 20 tackles.fouls.
Against the comp, its easier to recover the ball, they dont think as spontaneous as humans anyway so they are more predictable.

Ach, I always try to have fun while playing my brother, he gets pissed everytime I foul his player in the middle of a good chance. I end up with quite a lot of yellow's though :)

I can time my tackles if I want too, its much more fun seeing my brother pissed :D
But when playing some random guy over XBLive or in real life I never go berserk with tackling.

Its nothing about being good, am scoreing 6-7 goals a game on 6 star, but am stil giving away 30-40 fouls that are just the computors pussy players diving.......!!!!!!!

hahaha i sorta agree... its never as extreme as 40 for me but i can get bout 15 fouls where the comp jus falls even if i jus running near them they fall sumtimes but thats the computer cheatin on 6* it jus gives me more satisfaction to know i cained the computer even while they cheat:D
btw viva u sed u score alot of ur free kicks i knows its bit off topic but how do u score em! mine always over or hit the wall unless i hit them super slow and then they are ez to save for the keeper so lose lose situation :angry:

I reacently scored a long ranger on my ps2 with gerrard, jus of half way with this tactic ( if you realy wanna see it al try but a cba so only if you realy want to ) from long range get a powerful shot but quite acurate and ge someone to lay him off, if the wall is on the left use right and vice versa, hold R1, up and the direction you want it to curl and tap square until you get the power you want, this has to be tested, usaly jus over half dependin were you are. From close range get your most accurate, point the ball so its jus of the post, missing, and hold the direction you want it to curl in from, which ever side your on, the opposite, and tap square for the power you need then press and hold up, usally jus below half, i've got a Beckham one, al post it in a sec, peace out!

chill chill no need to post i see loads of free kicks go in but i jus thoght they might be a solid technique to get em in thats all
but i'll give those tips a try although thats what i sorta try ne ways but i usually give less power then half cos they always blast em well over but i do wanna see the gerrard one if u dont mind:D

I very rarely use :circle: to tackle, but when I do I never give away the foul. I just pressure them down and force them to pass backwards or I get the ball cleanly. I beat Argentina 4 - 0 in a 30 minute game on 6*and with the exception of goal kicks my keeper didnt touch the ball til like the 78th minute.

btw wen u are forcing them to pass backwards dont u find that they always make like two back passes then jus long pass forward! i hate the long ball tactics all my attack and pressure gone in one press of a button:( haha i dont like it wen they pass to the keeper and he clears it either! but meh its all part of the game... its jus the borin part of the game

I play to score class goals. It would be easy to put 15+ pass the keeper in that time, but I was after beautys. Shooting from 40 yards, volleys from outside the area, winning free-kicks to try from long range. The 4 goals I scored were very good, but it was my defenseive display that was wicked in that match.

And mehul - I cleared every long ball with my defender. I'm great at winning headers.

Ok pain, I use this tactic to, I havn't scored from inside the box for ages, but a stil scored 3-4 goals worth saving everygame!
