You can't patch an option file. In order to benefit from patches you need a chipped ps2 so you copy the game and apply the patch data on the disc.

In which folder must the patch be applied ?

And is it possible to play with a patched game to have all the kits but still use the option file saved on memory card in order to still have the created players, edited faces, ... ?
