How to be the other (cpu) team in a league cup etc

Just got pes 2009. not that great but ok.

anyway. not playds a pes since pes 5. me n my mate used to have a 2 player league. when it was my team he would play as the computer team and visa versa, so we always played each other but still had our own teams. Why on earth wont pes 09 let us. when we pause the game and go to controller setup it only lets us be on the same team. This is rubbish. we dont want to play the cpu. Please tell us we are doing something wrong. Please dont tell me they have totally destoyed pes! thankyou

OH MY GOD!!! its the same on fifa. WHY OH WHY do these game developers make us play the cpu. I dont want to play the cpu. I want to play my sodding mate. I have had it with these games. why wont they just let us. and why does nobody seam to care about this.

1. you cant be on the cpu team because you get players by winning a league- and you can cheat with that.. pes 5 had pes shop so they didnt care about cheating..
2. if you want to make your league you need to make a league with two teams and arrange the games..

when you start a league for 3 players or more you need to decide who plays against who and so on..

A lot of people were complaining about this when PES09 came out.

The only thing I can suggest is making every game (edit: team) a human player, and when you want them to just be computer controller, put it on manage mode.

surely the game 'players' The important people can get them to chnage this. if not for the current games...the the next one. coz tbh... ITS S.H.I.T.E and spoils the whole games. bothe fifa and pes

I am the same opinion - they should change it so we can play the game like we did always when i played with friends. We wanna play Tournaments, Champions League, World Cup ... without CPU!!!!
Its just stupid bullshit locking up the controllers-choice because of cheating!!!! WHO THE FUCK cares about the few kids who cheat to get some new players or extras???
I DONT CARE BUT I CARE IF WE CANT PLAY TOURNAMENTS the way WE ALWAYS DID!!! I am sure nearly every PES-GAMER would load the update if Konami would deliver a solution like this??? Lets send over a email to this crazy Guys to let them know that they destroy their own wonderful product!!!!

u cant pick the cpu team as u selected 1 player at the start, they have stopped it so that if ur losing u dont simply press pause, change to the cpu team, score a few own goals and ur real team wins

stop moaning about something so trivial, if u wanna have a game against ur mate its easy to do either pick an exibition or pick every single team in the tournament u want

I think, what would be good, is if these people's wants is met - i.e. you can be the other team in a tournament, but as soon as you switch teams in any tournament, you automatically lose all the possible rewards for winning it. So you can have fun with your mates, but you can't use it to cheat your way to unlockables.

And obviously you wouldn't be able to do this on ML.

Does anyone know of a patch for the PC version so we can change sides? Or does anyone know how to patch this? Going on a 24 hour flight to Aus in a couple of weeks.. would be really cool if me an my mate can spend most of it taking it in turns to try and win the champions league against each other!

Red Owl... can you pick every team in champions league mode? And if you do pick every team won't that mean having to play something ridiculous like 500 games or so...? Or is there a way to get around this? How does the 'manager mode' thing work?

muppet i bet yr 1 of them who moans about the shorts and other shite thats got nowt to do with the game play and theres nowt trival about the it .Its the most annoying thing there is on the game

Think I wrote something to this effect in one of my rants a while back, What I mean is that lenghty consideration brought me to the conclusion that next gen PES has removed this feature due to the future implementation of the Trophies feature, after all its such a stupid element to remove, and to be honest, I would gladly give up the trophies to play 2 player leagues and cups against my mate, the fact that I might lose in game rewards/trophies is nothing to sweat about when bragging rights and pride is at stake lol, Hpefully version 1.30 will make my day, if not then surely it should be an option in PES2010.
