If you look for Cali's pes ultimate guide, click on one of my posts I have a link to a great step by step guide although its for PES4 it still works.

hi arca,
Finnaly found it....sorry about that. Looked it over and will try to give it a go. First thing i notice though was that the edit logo screens are hugely diffrent from past versions....also you are unable to choose colors to add.... you now have to do it in a seperate screen. Could you please give it a go in game and see if you find that it works the same, im going to try it now... but maybe I do something wrong and dont get the resault. thanks again....really appriciate the help.

The colour part it a pain in the arse, but this walkthrough certainly explains the grids etc......what else are you struggling with?

thanks arca...

Jumped on it last night and started to try and make a random logo...it seems that in PE6 it only shows the grid to within 4 squares of the actual pics. So anyways, found it nearly imposible to put anything in.

My first step was to change the screen color to black.... then had to color each pic white....... did not work one bit. got so fustrated in the end that i just gave up. So I take it that if you have a multilayerd logo , you have to color each segment a diffrent shade of greyscale???

is that right?

anyways, i will have another crack, but i am just about to give up on all the editing...im good at the kit part of things but just cant seem to the logos done. Badges i havent tried....but made my own version of the SV waldhof mannheim badge....about as close as it could be, but decided just to re design.... i know, Historical murder.....but mine looks 800 times better.

thanks for your help... if you happen to find anyone that has made a guide on how to edit in game for PS2...let me know.... thanks for the help and being kind.

thanks,

The Badge set up if much better, as you can produce a larger picture with colour. I have also struggled to do the Blackburn 24 logo as it has various colour differences. As I have basically done white on grey logo's i.e. nike tick, adidas logo etc..... its been OK as you can colour the whole thing in a different colour on the other screen like you said.

hey arca...

ok gave the logo editor another go.... failed misrably......just made a big white blob tick in place of a nike sign.....lol

used the 128 color badge editor and found that easy but had the issue of it fadeing into a blob as well.... but it will do for now.... i take it that if you use the 128 when it scales it down it shades and blurs almost all of the image.... so i take it most people use the 32 color editor for there badges.

anyways...just about 80 percent given up on the whole thing....thinking that im just going to get the PC version for all the editing. lol.

PS: just went to the saka site...and got some grid colored guids....that might help my placement.....ill let you know how it goes...tommorrow.

anyways....thanks again.

ok bud...heres the update,

thanks to the saka site i was able to get some grided images 16 bit and was actually able to create a nike logo and vw logo both one tone.....so now comes the next questions.

How is it possible to do multi colored logos?

Is there a program i can use to convert images to 16bit grid form?

I saw that some kits have logos on theyre sleeves....but when it comes to placeing the logos, i am only able to place on shorts, back or front. How do you place a logo on the sleeve?

man.... a pandoras box of question have opened! thanks for your help!

Yeah I have also struggled with the Multi Coloured logos, as for placing them on the sleeve you just can't in simply edit mode I am afraid, the whole editing is good but Kanomi could do a hell of a lot better. I just feel with the amount of teams with things on the sleeves and shoulders then this will be added next version for more scope.

thanks arca.

really mean it bro...thanks for the hand. I am going to see some friends that i tend to hang out with on a weekly and ask about all the editing and see if they want to start and maybe help out.

I think there is alot than can be improved for next year....but PE is great and its the best multiplayer expirience. Even though my friends have figured out the running down the sideline and the stretching the D tactics. Its still alot better than Fifa.... Dont tell anyone but i actually like FIFA this year. LOL

anyways... have you any idea:

Is there a program i can use to convert images to 16bit grid form?

thanks bud appriciate it.

How do you use colours when editing a logo? I just stocked one (I'm also doing the Blackburn 24 logo - just making the circle with the multicolour border and white in the middle, and putting "24" on top of it) and I can't see this "other screen" that you can edit the colours in.

This feature was removed from PES 6, you can not create color logos. You need to edit the logo you want with an image editing program like photoshop, to the proper size and color, and then transfer it to the OF using PES-editor. That's the only way.
