how to fake a free kick

i somehow managed to do a 'fake' free kick today with henry, i don't know how i did it but here goes:henry steps up to take free kick, then as usual pressed [] n accidentally some other button, henry stepped forward, swung his legs and missed the ball completely,the ball remained in the same spot, the whole defending wall juz jumped... anybody has any idea how to do that???

i noe normal shooting can fake but faking a free kick???? issit possible? note: i did not press select for a double team b4 taking the free kick, its juz henry alone. somebody enlighten me???

I did something like that before, except he didnt like totally miss it, it was just like normal just that the ball didnt move. Watched the replay and it showed his foot just going thru the ball as though it isnt there... A bug or glitch perhaps?

yeh i did tht and i svaed it cos i fort it was so comical! made more funny because it was my edited player taking it

Yeah i done that like three times in a row on practice have no idea how if i find out will get back to u. i normally press x just befor he kicks it to give the free kick dip so i might have sliped will experiment tonite.

the legs didnt even go thru the ball.... thats y i found it strange.... then the funny thing is the opponents (com team) were stunned, they left pennant open in the box. henry rushed back to the ball and :triangle: for pennant to score. kinda dumb.... another question: any tricks for double team?

well if you have two players over the ball you can push r3 to lay the ball on for the other player to lash it in to the top corner watch the power on the lay off though

and i dont know how i done it put i flicked it up once.

Strange, the exact same's happened to me with the exact same player. Henry seems to put his standing foot through the ball while he swings his right leg to the right of the ball. Scholes just ran out of the wall and hoofed it upfield.

Must be a glitch or something I'm guessing.

Theres a throw in glitch where he throws the ball and it just lands at his feet. I re-select someone else to throw it and do a long throw and the game freezes. Pisses me off.

By the way, shouldn't this thread be called "how do you fake a free kick"? the title kinda makes u think that the thread will tell you how to do it, but disappoints

thats total crap i always use x and if your on about befor u shoot it passes.
