I think there is no way to make other teams want to purchase your player... Only thing I could think of is making him play and having good ratings...

What works best with me is like said above, keep them playing leading up to a transfer window then transfer list them a couple of weeks before the transfer window opens. That seems to work for me especally for midfielders + strikers who are scoring regularly.

i make sure i play them throughout the season, get them a couple of goals or assists then usually a week or two before the transfer window opens i will put them on the transfer list. seems to work with me fine. i even got rid of giggs that way

I keep asking myself why somebody would "get rid" of giggs...

I just put them on the transfer list and leave them to rot, someone buys them for ridiculous amounts of money in the end.

Giggs is a great player, him Scholes and Van der sar are back as youngsters in the Man Utd team on my ML. I'm interested in signing Giggs off them but I have a youth team policy only at the moment, so only use players that have come through my youth team. Giggs would be a nice addition though!

If you want to sell a player that loves your team, you may put him on the transfer list several times. Just remove from the list and put him back.

At the end, the player will be with a broken heart and he may accept offers from others teams.

well it was more for the fact he wasnt fitting in to my plans and also due to the fact he went brokenhearted the first time i stopped him moving from united. so i decided i would sell him
my main plan is to create a team with up and rising young players.

Have you noticed how the old players, who return back in the youth team of their former club, seem to return with a hefty wage bill already? Giggs and Scholes both have 4M per year at 18 years of age. My 18 yr olds are on 1M.

Placing a player in the transfer list usually doesn't get rid of him, I tried to get rid of Gibbs in my Arsenal team, even though he was good and all and developing well, I needed to make room, so I had him in the transfer list for 2 seasons, with him playing in 15+ games each season and with several assists.

You just gotta hope for the best, the AI generally doesn't want your players.

i had a guy on the injury list for ages, i got the memo that he was returning to the club... followed instantly by the memo he has signed for another club... ungrateful twat.

Totally agree.

Also, in the first place, is the player any good? If you are selling him cos he's crap then surely no one's gonna be queuing up to sign him? Sometimes, you just gotta let him run out his contract and let him go for nothing or release him near the end of the contract when it isn't as expensive.

Something I found playing older WE versions: If you adjust the CPU level lower to like amatuer, the CPU teams will be more willing to buy your players. Haven't seen any conclusive evidence of this yet in PES2010. Anyone can comment? ;)

Agreed.

You have to consider if the player is good enough to be wanted by anyone else? If you're selling cos he's crap then maybe that's why no one's buying!

I noticed in earlier PES/WE i played, if you reduced the CPU level, the chances of them buying your crap players actually improve. Haven't seen any conclusive proof of this in PES2010 though. Anyone seen this yet?

Well if people are anything like me they'll prefer pacey wingers so I generally use Valencia & Nani.

Obertan is wonderful on the wing aswell when playing youngsters.
