how to pass a defender?

Hey everybody!

since a few days i play WE8.

I noticed that it is much harder to pass a defender (overtake a defender).

Does anyone have tips how to overtake a defender the best??

And maybe it is imagination but is it also harder to score a goal in WE8?

I think it's the same thign as every new PES that you play.. it took me a good few weeks before I started scoring regularly on PES3... think it'll be the same with WE8.. keep peservering mate!

Yes it is harder to score in WE8. But I expect we'll get used to the new system in time.

Learn all the tricks and moves and you should be able to beat the defenders. Or use one-twos.

yes, one-twos are working great.. some as pass throughs. But facing a defender (1 to 1) is so hard.
On PES4 i mostly just sprints or use a fast turn (i wait until the defender(s) are near me and then make a quick turn to the other side i was running to.. so i lost easily the defender(s)) but this isn't possible anymore... at least it is harder.

Will u explained it pretty well I understood you, we'll all get used to the new style of play withiin weeks. I remember in WE7 it tooks ages before I adapted to the new style and flow of the game

ok,...I will practice and practice till Ibrahimovic, Sneijder or Van der Vaart can pass a defender like they can in real life.

a working day is too long when you wanna play WE8...

Multiple R1 pressing while running makes the player a bit faster than just holding R1, so use it once you passed a defender.

yeh if u double tap 'R1' the player hits the ball in front of him a bit and then runs on to it but he also gets a 'burst of pace' when hes doing it and most of teh time you will fly past the defenders(as long as theyre not faster than u)

Althought the game is tougher but It make it more realistic!
