How to Patch WE8 - A Basic Guide on making a WE8 ISO & Patching & burning it

I tried backing up a PS2 (DVD NTSC version) game called winning eleven 8(SOCCER GAME). I used NERO (by dvd copy), ALOCHOL 120% (by create image and then burn image), and also DVD DECRYPTER (exactly how it described in here), so i burned the iso file ,and they all don't work(When I tried to load the game, they could all only get to the point where it shows "PLAYSTATION 2" and after that, it stopped loading. All the files from the original game disk are on the Copied DVDs. And the blank DVD-R I used are fine(b/c I have burned many games with the same kind of media and they all worked fine at the speed of 2X) Can someone please help me as I have wasted about 10 DVD-R already?

DVD Decrypter wont record help!!!

I followed all the steps in your guide, and put in a DVD-R [4.7GB] in to copy the .MDS file but it just says : "Device is not ready [Medium not present]", and nothing happens.
Could it be that i am using the wrong type of DVD-R??Please help. Thanks in advance.

you must write the .iso file u have made with dvd decrypter.

So there's no way to burn on a CD-R, I also dont have a DVD burner....

You can either burn the DVD image onto a DVDR or you use the ripping method in ashmufc's thread and then burn it onto a CDR.
